Ever wanted to paint that beautiful landscape or flower or that portrait of a loved one, but weren't sure how? Then read on!
Danny and Val invite you to join our attractive and friendly studio in the heart of the Kent countryside. If you live in the Maidstone or the Tonbridge and Malling areas of Kent, then this is the place for you to learn new skills, or improve on existing ones, in all aspects of painting and drawing in a relaxed and at times lively atmosphere!
Classes are held in drawing, watercolour, pastel, oils and acrylics, both for adults and for children, and are geared principally to the wishes of each individual student, from complete beginners to the more experienced. You go at your own pace! Classes are small, with no more than 4 to 7 students at any one time, thereby ensuring everyone receives individual tuition. See some of our students work here
If you have any questions regarding Art Classes with us, please email us with your requests, or telephone us at the studio on 01622 816896, where we will be pleased to talk with you.
We held our second, of what has now become an annual "painting day" workshop in the garden of the farm owners, Mark and Elizabeth English, located at the back of our studio at Manor Farm, for some of those who attend our regular classes. With excellent weather, once again, a very pleasant and enjoyable day was had by all, with works produced in oils, watercolours, pastels and ink.See more photos of the day!
In August, we at the studio were pleased to host a part of a day long leaving "do", for the work colleague of one of our students, Janet Wilson. Wanting to do something a bit different, following a morning spent at nearby Leeds Castle, she led her wary band of 6 colleagues to the doors of our studio, none of whom had done any art since their school days. All in all a great day and a novel idea for a leaving do. Pictures of the day here
